SEOTesting is a platform built to help SEO professionals make data-led decisions through testing and reporting. It is developed and supported by a small, experienced team at SanityCheck.io Ltd.
We are passionate about working with Google Search Console data. Our mission is to give marketers tools that help them improve rankings, increase organic traffic, and prove the value of SEO.
SEOTesting was first launched in 2016. It started as a basic reporting tool that helped archive Google Search Console data when only 3 months were available. Over time, the product evolved based on user feedback. We added time-based SEO testing, SEO split testing, and a growing library of pre-built reports to help you act on real performance data.
In April 2020, we rebranded to SEOTesting and fully repositioned the product. From that point forward, our sole focus has been on helping SEOs test changes, measure results, and clearly report outcomes.
Today, SEOTesting is trusted by SEO professionals, in-house marketers, agencies, and ecommerce teams across the world.
We are a small, bootstrapped company. If you have a support question, feature request, demo request, or even just a general SEO question, you’ll hear from someone on our core team – Nick, Ryan, Faith, or Vicky.
We write the code, support our users, document the product, and share SEO knowledge across the community. We believe in building useful tools, staying close to our users, and helping people get results.

Nick Swan – Founder
Nick Swan is the founder of SEOTesting, a platform that helps SEO professionals run tests using Google Search Console data to improve search performance.
As a solo founder, Nick is involved in every part of the business. He designs and builds new features, supports customers, writes product documentation, and publishes SEO guides and articles.
Nick is passionate about helping marketers make data-led decisions through simple and effective SEO testing. He created SEOTesting to make SEO more measurable for businesses and agencies.
Outside of work, Nick manages his local U13 Girl’s Football Team and enjoys spending time with his family. If you’re ever in Bude, look out for him in his campervan!

Ryan Jones – Marketing Manager
Ryan Jones is the Marketing Manager at SEOTesting, a platform that helps SEO professionals run controlled SEO experiments and improve search performance using Google Search Console data.
Before joining the team in April of 2023, Ryan was a long-time customer and advocate of the tool. He now leads content strategy, builds brand partnerships, and drives awareness through social media, conferences, podcasts, and educational content.
Ryan regularly speaks at SEO events including BrightonSEO, Zagreb SEO Summit, London SEO Meetups, and Nottingham Digital Summit. He contributes to the wider marketing community and is passionate about making SEO more measurable and accessible through data-led experimentation.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys discovering new places to eat, playing football, and hiking in the Peak District.

Faith Summon – Developer
Faith is a keen coder and is happiest when creating tools that make life easier for people.

Vicky spends her time mainly supporting our lovely customers, along with handling general business operations.
