Magic Links: easily share access to SEO tests and reports

Making Search Console data more useful and accessible has been a core mission of SEOTesting since the beginning.

Magic Links allow you to share access to SEO tests, specific views, and reports within SEOTesting without the recipient of the link needing an SEOTesting user account.

This makes it easier to share SEO test results, data, insights, and opportunities with management, project stakeholders, team members, and clients.

Where can you use Magic Links?

We have rolled out the Share button and Magic Link functionality to these views and areas of the tool:

How to create a Magic Link

If you see the Share button on a report or view in SEOTesting, you can create a Magic Link for that page and share direct access to it.

Upon clicking the Share button you’ll be presented with a pop-up that allows you to configure how long the link will work for:

• 7 days
• 30 days
• 90 days
• No expiration

Once you click Create Link, you can then use the Copy Link button to add the Magic Link to your clipboard so you can paste and share it wherever you want.

Report on Magic Links configured

You can see all the Magic Links created at the site and account level. For the site report go: Dashboard -> Edit -> Magic Links

For all magic links in an account: Account -> Magic Links

From these reports you can copy the Magic Link to share again, or delete it all together.
